Considering the recent government regulations on security and the extension of the state of emergency in Italy, Hardware Forum Italy suspends for 2020.

There was great expectation in the market for the first autumn exhibition dedicated to a technical sector that played an important role of essential retail during the Covid-19 emergency.

Despite the last few weeks of intensive planning were characterised by high registration levels, the extensive preparations for the event and the #B-SAFE4business package of measures for the coronavirus-compliant implementation of trade fairs developed by Koelnmesse – adapted to local requirements – were not enough to calm the hesitancy amongst trade fair attendees.

In an uncertain national scenario still affected by the health and economic emergency, Koelnmesse reassessed the overall situation and decided that it was best to respond to the wishes of industry exhibitors and visitors by not implementing Hardware Forum Italy 2020.

Hardware Forum Italy will take place with new energy in September 2021, together with its partner event Bricoday. As Hardware Forum Italy intends to strengthen its role of most important platform for the hardware industry in Italy, it is working intensively on concepts and formats that will successfully bring exhibitors and visitors together again in Milan.
