The new Prime Ministerial Decree of 14/7/2020 further extended until 31 July the restrictive measures on the organisation of fairs and conferences, leaving the whole sector in a climate of absolute uncertainty caused by continuous postponements. Finding ourselves at a ‘no-return’ organizational point, we are forced to cancel the 2020 edition of Bricoday Expo&Forum scheduled for 22-23 September.
The government’s choice to continue on the line of maximum caution to prevent the infection (it is also likely the prolongation of the ‘State of emergency’) makes it impossible for us to plan an event that require timely planning and significant efforts involving a multitude of subjects.
This postponement comes in a crucial moment in the Bricoday organization, both for us and for the exhibitors who have shared together with us their doubts about this situation. We cannot wait any longer and, in consideration of the above, we have been forced to take this painful decision.
Despite all the difficulties, we strongly believed until the last moment in the possibility of carrying out this edition of Bricoday deploying all our energies. We thank everyone who trusted us even in this difficult year.
See you in September 2021 for a great edition of Bricoday.
