Bricoday Expo&Forum is the most important B2B event for the world of DIY and home improvement. It is held every year in Milan at Mi.Co., the conference centre of Fieramilano City.
Bricoday Expo, with over 260 exhibitors, represents the widest display offer in the sector in Italy, with a constant growth of international operators. The most represented sectors are: DECORATION, TEXTILE, BATHROOM FURNITURE, LIGHTING, OUTDOOR, GARDEN, WOODEN FURNITURE, TECHNICAL, ELECTRIC, BUILDING, HOUSEWARES.
The pavilion South Wing is entirely occupied by the companies of Bricoday.
In the Exhibitors section it is possible to view the company profiles, more and more complete and detailed, available, like the whole site, also in English. It is also possible to send requests and contacts to exhibitors directly from the profile page.
Bricoday Forum is the moment to take stock of the market, thanks to the presentation of the Osservatorio Retail Bricolage and the speeches of the protagonists of the sector. The morning of the first day is dedicated exclusively to the congress, whereas the opening of the exhibition hall is from 12.30 p.m..
Compact, convenient to visit, business-oriented. Bricoday Expo & Forum is an event not to be missed.
The edition that ended on September 26 at Mi.Co. Milan was of great satisfaction for exhibitors, visitors and organizers of Bricoday Expo&Forum, thanks to the strong growth of all indicators compared to the 2018 edition.
Overall, in 2019 Bricoday registered 5.910 accesses (+7% compared to 2018), of which 4.960 unique users, with a significant increase in the number of distribution operators.
As for the exhibition, this edition was the richest ever with 270 exhibitors (+5% compared to 2018), which occupied the entire Mi.Co. South pavilion.
The presence of leading figures, the new formula of interviews, the two well-balanced parts between market data and speeches of distribution operators, have made the 2019 conference a great success. There was a good turnout in the second morning, but it was the first morning that saw the inaugural congress hall packed.
The videos of the speeches are available in the ‘congress’ section.
Bricoday’s exhibition area occupies an entire Mi.Co. Milano Congressi pavilion. Over 260 exhibitors took their place on a total area of 6,000 m2, representing every possible “world” of DIY business.
The pre-built booths have compact size – from 7.50 to 30 m2 – optimizing the visiting time and promoting contacts with various leader companies.
Be an exhibitor at Bricoday is an intelligent way to make a fair: the companies as well as the visitors can focus on their own business only, in an operational pavilion built to ensure a consistent flow of visitors.
Mi.Co Milano Congressi is also a prestigious location, well connected to main motorway junctions, railway stations and airports to ensure an easy access to Italian and international visitors.
The heart of Bricoday is its congress, an appointment not to be missed for every professional operator from the DIY and gardening business. Our top speakers are research institutes, leading exponents of the academic world, prominent figures of DIY Specialized Retailers and producing companies. Every year, Bricoday gives the opportunity to display the market data, to identify future scenarios, to highlight threads and issues linked to the Specialized Retailers’ world, to be informed about the most interesting case histories.
The 2019 edition agenda has been rich, both in speeches’ quality and quantity, developed in a two-mornings session.
The Bricoday congress room can accomodate up to 700 people.
Along with the Bricoday edition, it is held Hardware Forum – La Fiera della Ferramenta – same day, different pavilion –. After its successful debut in 2015, it seems to be the key venue for hardware, tools and technical equipment producers and retailers. The congress is held next to a wide exposition area: highly-qualified speakers debate on strong and current issues concerning the varied world of hardware stores. A training opportunity and a display to promote new items and the latest innovations in the field.
Hardware Forum – La Fiera della Ferramenta is powered by Koelnmesse – a leading hardware fair organization holding international expositions such as Eisenwarenmesse Cologne and CIHS Shangai – in collaboration with Epe Edizioni, organizer of Bricoday.
Bricoday is held by Epe edizioni, the publishing house of BricoMagazine and Ferrutensil, two trade magazines dedicated respectively to DIY wholesalers and traditional hardware store retailers.
Established in 2004, BricoMagazine is the leading and most influential Italian publication dedicated entirely to the modern DIY retail sector. The magazine speaks to all DIY operators and provides commercial and economic info concerning market and product issues through interviews with key figures, news about sales outlets, and manufacturer surveys. BricoMagazine is red by the buyers of the specialized distribution and the non food retail chains, plus over 800 supplier companies.
Since 1986 Ferrutensil represents a reliable source of information for all the professional operators in the hardware, DIY and gardening business. Ferrutensil provides market news and developments, product updates, trade fair reports, management strategies, in-depth of fiscal and financial issues. Ferrutensil is also the only magazine for professional/industrial retailers: 4 issues (out of 9 overall) are published as Ferrutensil Professional with content focused on the B2B market in our sector.
Bricoday is held at the southern pavilion of Mi.Co. Milano. The pedestrian entrance – Gate 3, Viale Eginardo – is a few steps away from the new underground station Portello, line M5.
